Your dog’s vaccinations are an easy way to prevent multiple diseases present in your pet’s environment. There are different vaccines used depending on you and your pet’s location, lifestyle and travelling habits.

What types of vaccinations do you offer for adult dogs?

We offer the rabies vaccine and canine booster, which includes Distemper, Adenovirus, Type 2 Parainfluenza and Parvovirus vaccine. The influenza vaccine is also available for dogs. Additional vaccinations we offer include Bordetella for kennel cough, Lyme vaccine and Leptospirosis.

Is there a schedule for how often a dog should be vaccinated?

After the initial puppy vaccines, a year later, the dog receives rabies every 3-4 years and the booster every 2-3 years. If the owner requests Lyme, Leptospirosis or Bordetella, they are done yearly.

It is important to vaccinate our canines because it will prevent illness in your pet. Also, it helps with a zoonotic disease like rabies and leptospirosis that is transmittable to humans.
